What you are giving, and what you are not buying.
These terms were written on 7 September 2026 and have not been reviewed by our solicitor. They say what we intend. If a sentence here turns out to be wrong, we will fix it and refund anyone it affected — write to frank@tembral.com.
The plain version
You are paying for Tembral to be built. It is not finished, and giving money does not guarantee it will be.
Nothing you give buys a better seat in a circle, an earlier place, priority of any kind, or a say in what gets made.
You can have your money back within fourteen days, for any reason or none.
Who you are giving to
Frank Flores, trading as Tembral, a sole trader in the Netherlands.
Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Write to frank@tembral.com.
Payments are taken by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never to us — we are told the amount, the tier and nothing about your card.
What this is, and what it is not
Your payment funds the building of Tembral: finishing the app, and paying the people who run circles. It is a contribution to work that is under way, not the purchase of a finished product.
What it is not
- Not shares, equity, or an investment of any kind.
- Not a loan, and not an instrument with a financial return.
- Not a way to be seen first, seated sooner, or listened to longer. There is no queue and money does not move you in it.
- Not a say in what is built. We will not sell that, at any price.
What each tier is meant to deliver
These are what we intend, in good faith, on the dates we currently expect. They are not delivery dates we are promising to a court.
- One year, three years, lifetime, Founding 100. Membership of the app for that length of time, starting when the app opens. Membership after that is €9 a month, the same price everyone else pays.
- An hour with Frank. One hour, one to one, by voice or video, arranged with you by email. It is a conversation, not therapy, and not a circle.
- Dinner in Amsterdam. One dinner, in Amsterdam, at our expense. You would need to get yourself there, and we will agree a date that suits you.
- Carry a seat. Nine euros a month pays for one person to sit in a circle who could not otherwise. Nobody is told, including them. You get nothing.
- Token of support. Whatever you chose to give. It buys nothing at all, and that is the whole of it.
Refunds, and stopping
Fourteen days, no reason needed. Write to frank@tembral.com within fourteen days of paying and we will refund you in full, to the card you used, within fourteen days of you asking.
Carry a seat stops whenever you say so. One email, or the link in your receipt. We will not ask why, and we will not write back to talk you out of it.
After fourteen days a payment is not automatically refundable — but ask anyway. If you have had a change of circumstance we would rather return the money than keep it.
If you are unhappy, please write to us before asking your bank to reverse the charge. A chargeback costs us a fee on top of the amount, and we would almost certainly have refunded you.
If Tembral never opens
It might not. One person is building this and it is funded by the money on this page.
If we stop before the app opens, we will refund what has not already been spent on building it, in proportion to what each person gave, and we will publish what was spent and on what. If we stop after it opens, membership you have paid for and not yet had is refunded on the same basis.
Dutch law applies, and a Dutch court would decide any dispute. If you are unhappy with how we have handled something you can also complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens about anything to do with your data.
