What are you saying yes to?

You can change your mind later by replying to anything I send.

A first name is all this holds. There is no surname field here and there won't be one, and in the circle you're a first name too.

At most three emails, and only about this circle. Nobody in the circle sees it.

This opens a message in your own mail app, already written, addressed to me. What you write goes to my mailbox and nowhere else — no embedded form, and nothing here reads it on the way.

Or write to me directly:frank@tembral.com
What happens to your email, in full

If you take the seat: three emails about this circle — my reply, a note the Sunday before, and the link on the Friday. Pick either of the other two and it’s fewer. No newsletter, no updates, no second list.

Everything I send comes from a plain name with a plain subject line. A phone face-up on a kitchen table is read by whoever is standing over it, so nothing I send will say what this is on your lock screen.

Never come to one, and after ninety days there’s nothing left with your name on it. I don’t keep a list of men who thought about it.

One click at the bottom of any email takes you off the list. Nothing is sent afterwards to ask why.

If you never take a seat, your email is deleted 90 days after you joined.

One click in any email takes it back. No reason needed, and I won’t ask for one.

The person holding it is Frank Flores, in Amsterdam. Write to frank@tembral.com and it’s gone the same day.

Read the hour again

What happens after you press it

  1. I read every one by hand and answer from my own address. There is no automated sender behind this, so nothing arrives on a timer.

  2. On Sunday 23 August, a week out, I send you the hour minute by minute, so nothing on the night is a surprise.

  3. On Friday 28 August, the Zoom link. You don't have to answer it, and nobody checks whether you opened it.

  4. The circle runs when four men have taken a seat. If fewer than four have taken one by that Friday, the Friday email says the date has moved and gives you the next one.
